Watercolors

Watercolors……… Watercolors are subtle, temperamental and perfectly encapsulate what it means to be at the mercy of your medium. I started using watercolors around 2024 when my partner purchased me a small travel kit. I quickly realized that unlike other mediums, it is a lot harder to predict how a water color painting will turn out because changes in water to paint ratios, temperature, paint brands and paper type will have an effect on how color dries. The unpredictability of this medium encourages me to embrace the unexpected.
