Charcoal

This ancient medium is wise, bold and extremely versatile. When I use charcoal I feel a sense of freedom and looseness because it can be used in a condensed form or as a powder. This medium responds drastically with changes in pressure, gesture speeds and can be combined with an eraser to create endless visual effects.
